What is Family Day Care?

Family day care is a small, home-based childcare setting with fewer children, allowing for personalised attention and strong, meaningful relationships.

It provides a calm, nurturing environment where early learning is thoughtfully combined with genuine care—helping children feel safe, valued, and confident as they learn and grow.

What I offer:

  • Small group sizes — up to 4 children under 5

  • Additional care for up to 3 school-aged children (5–12 years) before and after school, during school holidays, and on curriculum days

  • A fully qualified and experienced educator

  • Flexible hours to support your family’s needs

  • Regular outings to local libraries, parks, and playgrounds (with parental permission)

Who is Stephanie?

Hi, I’m Stephanie — I have a Bachelor of Education, a Diploma in Children’s Services, and I am proud Mum to a two-year-old daughter.

I specialise in Foundation and Early Childhood Education, and have over 13 years of experience, including teaching in London for 3 years.

I offer a warm, home-based environment where children feel safe, valued, and supported. I believe children learn best through play, exploration, and strong, meaningful relationships.

Outside of my work, I enjoy travelling, camping, and cooking — interests that often inspire the activities and experiences I share with children in my care.

As both a teacher and a Mum, I understand how important it is to find someone you truly trust with your child. My calm, caring nature helps children feel secure and confident, while I build genuine, lasting relationships with families.

When your child is in my care, you can feel confident they are not only safe and happy, but truly cared for every day.

  • (8:00am to 6:00pm Monday to Friday)
    $14 per hour + Levy $1.35

  • (6:00pm to 8:00am Monday to Friday)
    $17.50 per hour + Levy $1.35

  • (Saturday & Sunday)
    $20 per hour + Levy $1.35

  • School days Monday to Friday)
    $30 per hour + Levy $1.35

  • $30 per hour + Levy $1.35

  • $17.50 per hour + Levy $1.35

  • $15 per day payment is late

  • $2.50 per serve (Snack)
